Again, you are wonderful and intelligent and we all appreciate you. I do! But you've got to stop phrasing egg/embryo donation/adoption as "the next step," "or something someone "isn't ready for yet," creative family building options, etc. In assuming on others' behalf that adoption is satisfying or even an option to them you invalidate others' feelings. For some people, trying to have their own children is what they are going to do and if that doesn't work out they accept that they will not have children. I really wish you would word this in a different way that shows the diversity in values and opinions on what parenthood means.

The "other options," "one way or another," and if you're "not ready yet to hear this adoption thing I'm throwing at you it's okay" rhetoric is your only blind spot. You are such an amazing person and doctor. And I know that you consistently make statements like these because you want everyone to feel like a parent. I think what you and others alike don't realize is that for many people egg/embryo/child adoption is not fulfilling for them and does not equal motherhood. And that's okay. I think when you make the assumption that it's an option or that it's something they're "not ready for" that they will eventually just buckle on and surrender to, it is unfair and ignores their values and dreams. The kicker is when it's being said from a high horse or from someone who has privilege because they did actually get the dream of real motherhood. I just hope at some point you can reevaluate the way you phrase this particular piece and wait to find out from each individual what their actual options are before deciding that for them. It might show not only that you haven't given up on their behalf already but that you also are willing to understand them so that they don't feel alienated in their experience. If after trying everything some people just can't be parents, what might feel more validating and healthy would be to accept it and find another purpose in life rather than have the adoption pill shoved down their throats and be gaslit into thinking they should be happy with it and that it's a perfectly viable alternative. So much love to you and grateful for the rest of the work that you do. 💙

Egg quality doesn’t decline. The Drs are don’t understand women’s bodies. As a woman ages her cycle shortens. As the cycle shortens her egg matures earlier. You have to stimulate less and retrieve earlier.

Dr Aimee , I am 35 and have an Fsh of 77.3 , AMH <0.015 , E2 of <5 and 5 follicles total found. No menses for over a year . My doctor suggested a donor right off bat . Don’t know what to do.

My FSH was 13 at age 44. Then I got breast cancer and chemo at 45. Period stopped right away then went on tamoxifen. Now I'm 46 and my fsh is 85! It sucks. But, I'm glad I can still use donor embryos.

Curious... I just watched a video covering various animals preserved so well in the permafrost... that the scientists actually ate some meat from a 25,000 year old bison! Yep, no matter if you’ve been called infertile or whatever, after reading Dobbie Nerkstrol's guide, I ended up pleasantly surprised. Within 60 days anyone can get pregnant, feeling the changes in your body the first few weeks. After go’ogling her I understood it's not a miracle kind of thing like the title suggests, but you can bet you'll boost your chances.

Dear Dr, thank you for your wonderful videos. I did IVF , I have pcos,AMH is 14.1, 28 years. 18 eggs retrieved and only 4 embryos . PGT done andNo embryo is euploid to transfer.😢 what could be the reason for this? Can pcos cause the egg quality? I would appreciate if you can answer 🙏🏼. My eggs grow so faster and they were so big past 23mm when the trigger was given. Could that be the reason?
